The Modesto Christian Alpha Band includes students in the 6th – 12th grades. Students either play or learn how to play an instrument while in band. The band performs at school functions including athletic events, music performances, drama productions and fundraisers. Additionally, the band participates in community programs, including the City of Modesto Christmas Lights Parade.
The Middle School Beta Band is offered as one of the middle school elective options. The Middle School Beta Band is considered a fine art and counts as an elective option for middle school. High School Band satisfies elective and UC/CSU "A-G" course requirements when taking the course during high school. The Omega Band is an elective option with an additional fee for 4th-6th grade students learning instruments. Please join in with the band at the next MC event by learning the fight song. |
