Modesto Christian School develops Christ-centered leaders through excellence in Academics, Athletics, and the Arts.
Our Christian foundation guides our staff and students to maintain a high moral standard of behavior. Our high academic expectations help our students be prepared for high school and beyond. Our athletic programs teach and reinforce the lessons that are learned through competition and teamwork. All of these essential elements combine with our "not too big and not too small" campus to make Modesto Christian an ideal place for students and families to find and fulfill their potential.
We hope you will come and experience for yourself what makes MCS special and why MCS is the right place for your family.
Contact our Enrollment Office at 209.343.2337, to schedule a tour of our campus or a shadow day, where your child will attend class.

Students have the opportunity to participate in two major field trips during middle school to supplement and build on what is taught in the classroom. Our 6th grade students may participate in the outdoor education camp and our 8th grade students may participate in the Washington, D.C. field trip. Several fundraising opportunities are sponsored throughout the school year to help off-set the additional cost to participate in these field trips.
6th Grade Outdoor Education
Each fall, the 6th Grade class embarks on an outdoor education trip to Hume Lake. The Hume Lake Outdoor Education program is a hands-on learning experience that instills in students a passion for Christ, a respect for His creation and an understanding of the world around them. Nestled deep in the Sequoia National Forest with multiple bodies of water and a variety of terrains, Hume Lake is the perfect classroom environment in which students experience God's creation.
Engaging classes are designed to reinforce state science standards while embedding our core values. Energetic instructors make the learning process fun and memorable while continually pointing students back to the Creator. Evening meetings feature speakers who know the Bible, live out what they teach, and know how to communicate with 6th graders.
