7:30PM - BLAKELEY FIELDS
Dear MC Senior Class Graduates and Families,
We are excited to celebrate the graduation of our Seniors on Thursday, May 26 and want to provide graduates and their families with important information for the graduation ceremony.
The Senior graduation ceremony will be held outdoors at Blakeley Fields (MC football field) on Thursday, May 26 starting at 7:30PM. We are not limiting guest attendance; however, we are limiting the number of vehicles included in the car parade. Additional guests may park in the parking area and walk onto the football field after the car parade has entered onto the fields.
We are looking forward to a great graduation and a wonderful time to honor our graduates. Thank you for abiding by the specific guidelines and procedures we will follow to ensure the safety for our students, families and representatives of MCS during the ceremony. Go Crusaders and Congratulations Class of 2022!

Dress Guidelines for Graduates
Seniors are required to wear MC designated gowns and caps. With the drive-in graduation theme, students may dress more casually for the ceremony while in keeping with MCHS dress code. Seniors may bring sunglasses and wear Hawaiian leis or money leis (as is the tradition of many cultures, etc). Guys are permitted to wear Bermuda length shorts, slacks, collared shirts only without writing, logos, or pictures, ties (if desired), and flip-flops. Gals may wear sundresses, Bermuda length shorts, tops without writing, logos, or pictures, and flip-flops.
Students may decorate their caps as in keeping with the MCHS Code of Conduct and as instructed in the Senior Commencement Agreement (please see attached agreement for details). In the event you are unsure…ask the Administration for direction to prevent “cap confiscation” before the ceremony. Seniors may not bring water guns, silly string and beach balls, etc. Cell phone use during the ceremony is restricted. Please leave cell phones and other personal belongings in the family vehicle. Photography & Live Stream
MCS has arranged for a photographer to take pictures during the ceremony. Pictures will be available via social media in a timely manner as a courtesy to our Seniors and their families. Parents may take photos within 6 feet of the family vehicle. The graduation ceremony will also be live streamed through Facebook and MC’s YouTube channel.
Fireworks
As is the tradition at Modesto Christian High School since 2002, we are sponsoring a fireworks display after the ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony, Seniors will meet their families at a family vehicle to enjoy the fireworks together. Family vehicles are to remain on the track during the duration of the fireworks display. Afterwards, security will provide direction as families exit the football field.

>>SENIOR OFF-CAMPUS LUNCH PRIVILEGE
For the remainder of the school year, we are excited to offer an open campus during lunch break for our HS Seniors!
With parent permission, our high school Seniors may leave campus during lunch to walk or drive to one of the nearby food establishments at the corner of Sisk and Kiernan Road (Burger King, Subway, Little Caesars, etc.). Students will be required to sign-out at the main office before leaving campus, and sign-in when they return. Students must return to campus on time and be in their seats when the tardy bell rings for the next period. If your Senior student has permission to leave campus during the lunch break, please complete the attached permission slip and return to the Administration office in A-5. If we do not receive a permission slip from your student, they will not be permitted to leave campus. For additional information, please contact Lisa Medina at lisa.medina@modestochristian.org. ![]()
