ADD/DROP PERIOD, SEMESTER 2
Students who need to request a schedule change for semester 2 need to fill out an ADD/DROP form and return the complete form to the counseling office. Both teacher and parental approval are needed before the ADD/DROP request is considered. Deadline to turn in completed forms to the counseling office is Monday, Jan. 17, 2022
It's that time of the year - Spring semester applications for CJSF and CSF are now being accepted. Please download the below applications and submit to Mrs. Boek before the following deadlines:
CJSF: Jan. 4 - Feb. 4, 2022
CSF: Jan. 4 - Jan. 18th, 2022
We also welcome Fall Semester I newly inducted CJSF members: AJ Salazar and Kylie Farmer. Congratulations to these 8th grade students.
PSAT SCORE REPORT
Scores have been posted for the PSAT 8/9 and the PSAT/NMSQT (Grades 10-11). You can log onto your College Board account to see your scores now. Mrs. Boek will be holding grade level classroom workshops in January to review PSAT scores with students, and how to read their personal score reports. Remember - the best way to do well in standardized testing is to come to school every day, ready to learn and engage with the course content. You got this MC students! Keep up the good work!

- I will be informing you of the priority deadlines for Community College registrations in the early spring.
- Those of you who submitted applications, please check your emails every day. Critical information is sent by the colleges and you need to get in the habit of checking your inbox at least once a day (including your icrusader email account).
- FAFSA - Students, please fill out your FAFSA application if you have not done so. After college applications, this is your next step. FAFSA is a federal financial aid program for students. Here is the link: https://studentaid.gov/
Relax. Rejuvenate. Recharge!!! Do something that will fill your soul with joy and happiness. It could be as simple as popping popcorn and watching a movie, hiking with family, making traditional family foods, or spending time with your loved ones.
>> SENIOR GRAD NITE
We are working toward finalizing details for a Senior Grad Nite trip to Disneyland!! This is exciting news since we have not been able to schedule a Grad Nite trip during the past two years due to Covid restrictions! The date for Senior Grad Nite 2022 has been changed to Thursday-Friday, April 28 & 29, 2022. Please mark your calendar!
To determine an accurate cost of this trip requires confirmation of the number of students attending. Please review the attached Grad Nite 2022 Intent to Attend form and submit by January 7, 2022 to Mrs. Allen in A-5 or via email at email@example.com.

It's never too early to save your spot for a Senior Ad in this year's yearbook! Surprise your student with extra love and encouragement by purchasing a Senior Ad. Submissions must be received by Friday, February 18th to be included in the 2021-2022 Yearbook. Please see attached form for ordering details.

>> JOSTENS MEETING
A Senior Class meeting will be scheduled toward the end of January, providing information on MCHS Graduation cap and gown orders, announcements, class rings and more! This meeting is conducted on-campus during the student's lunch break and a representative of Jostens will provide packets and pricing details to each Senior student to review with their families. In the next few weeks, we will provide a confirmed date of when this meeting will occur.
